Battle Ball · Published by Wrongway · Last updated July 8, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information Battle Ball ("the App", "we", "us") collects, how it is used, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. Battle Ball is published by Wrongway ("the Developer"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

1. Overview

Battle Ball is a turn-based, two-player strategy game. You can play locally on one device, against the computer, or online against another player over the internet. The App does not require you to create a traditional account with an email address, phone number, or password. Instead, each install is identified by an anonymous, randomly-generated device identifier ("Guest Account") used only to keep track of your nickname, rating, and match history.

We do not collect or request:

2. Information We Collect

a. Information you provide

b. Information collected automatically

c. Information generated by gameplay

3. Guest Accounts & Authentication

Battle Ball does not use email/password sign-up or third-party social login. Instead, on first launch the App generates a random device identifier and registers an anonymous Guest Account with our server, which issues an authentication token. Both are stored locally on your device and are used solely to associate your nickname, rating, and match history with your install of the App.

If you uninstall the App, this locally-stored identifier and token are removed from your device. If you reinstall the App, a new Guest Account is created and your previous rating/history will not be automatically restored unless you contact us as described in Section 12.

4. Online Multiplayer & Gameplay Data

When you choose to play online, the App connects to our game server over a secure WebSocket connection to find an opponent, exchange moves in real time, and keep score. To do this, the server necessarily processes:

This information is retained on our server as described in Section 10 and is not sold or shared with advertisers.

We do not use your data to build an advertising profile of you outside of what Google AdMob independently does for ad delivery (see below), and we do not sell your data to third parties.

6. Advertising (Google AdMob)

Battle Ball shows interstitial ads, served through Google AdMob (part of Google Play Services), at certain points in the App — for example, occasionally when starting a local match or an online match. To select and measure ads, Google AdMob and its partners may collect and process information such as your advertising identifier, general device information, and app usage signals, in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy and Google's advertising policies. We do not control and are not responsible for how Google processes this data beyond what is disclosed there.

You can control ad personalization and reset or opt out of your advertising identifier at any time from your device settings (on Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads, or the equivalent "Google Settings" app depending on your device/OS version).

7. How Information Is Shared

We do not sell your personal information. We share limited information only as follows:

8. App Permissions

PermissionWhy it's needed
INTERNETRequired to connect to the game server for online matches, matchmaking, the leaderboard, and to load ads.
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATEUsed to detect whether the device currently has connectivity, so the App can decide whether to attempt an online sync or fall back gracefully.
VIBRATEUsed purely for optional haptic feedback (e.g., when moving a piece or winning a round) — can be turned off in Settings.

The App does not request camera, microphone, location, contacts, SMS, storage, or any other sensitive Android permission.

9. On-Device Storage

The App stores a small amount of data locally on your device (via Android's private app storage / SharedPreferences), which is never accessible to other apps:

This data is removed automatically when you uninstall the App.

10. Data Retention

Guest Account data (nickname, rating, win/loss record) and match history are retained on our server for as long as your Guest Account is active, so that your progress and leaderboard standing persist between sessions. If you request deletion (see Section 12), we will delete or irreversibly anonymize this data within a reasonable time, except where retention is required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.

11. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we process, including encrypted network transport (HTTPS/WSS) between the App and our server and token-based authentication instead of passwords. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export the information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Because Battle Ball uses anonymous Guest Accounts rather than email sign-in, we identify your account using your device identifier or nickname, which you can find in the Settings screen of the App.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at peymandargahi767@gmail.com from the email address you'd like us to reply to, and include:

You can also simply uninstall the App at any time to stop all data collection on your device going forward; see Section 10 regarding data already stored on our server.

13. Children's Privacy

Battle Ball is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Ads shown in the App are served by Google AdMob and are not configured to target child-directed treatment; if you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us at peymandargahi767@gmail.com so we can delete it.

14. International Data Transfers

Our server and service providers (including Google, for advertising) may process information in countries other than your own. By using the App, you understand that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in a country that may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example to reflect changes in the App, our practices, or legal requirements. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the App after a change becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
